Legal Disclaimer
I am a qualified and registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the United Kingdom and have undertaken formal training as a certified Sleep Practitioner. My professional background enhances my understanding of health and wellbeing; however, the services provided through Settle and Snooze are offered strictly in a non-medical capacity.
The sleep consultancy services I provide are designed to offer education, support, and practical guidance around sleep habits, routines, and behavioural approaches to improving sleep. These services are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that:
-
Although I am an NMC-registered nurse and trained Sleep Practitioner, I am not acting as a healthcare provider in the context of this business.
-
I do not offer or provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment plans.
-
Any information or support offered is for informational and educational purposes only and should not be interpreted as a medical recommendation.
-
You should always consult your GP, paediatrician, health visitor, or other qualified healthcare professional if you or your child has any existing medical concerns, suspected health issues, or if a condition may be affecting sleep.
Should any medical issues arise or be suspected during our work together, I will recommend that you seek appropriate medical advice before continuing with any sleep plan.
Settle and Snooze assumes no responsibility or liability for any consequences resulting from your decision to implement strategies or information provided during consultations, particularly where medical advice should have been sought.
